Key Policies
Check-In Time
Passengers must check-in 45 minutes before published departure time. This is for seat confirmation. Confirmed bookings shall be cancelled and released to chance passengers upon failure of the passengers to check-in at least 45 minutes before published departure time.
ID Requirements
All passengers must present valid identification at check-in. Proper ID is also required to claim any discounts.
Baggage (Allowance, Excess, Unclaimed)
Each passenger is allowed to bring on board two (2) hand carried baggages not exceeding a total of 0.10 cbm in volume. Baggage weighing more than 15 kg shall be charged the excess weight charges prevailing at the time of travel. Baggage unclaimed within thirty (30) days from the date of completion of voyage shall be turned over to charitable institution.
Refunds and Rebooking
Refund will be made provided that the unused set of ticket is surrendered to carrier not later than six (6) months after the date of issuance. Surcharge of 20% of net fare + VAT will be collected upon refund either before or after vessel departure.
Transferable / Non-transferable Tickets
Tickets are strictly non-transferable and must be used by the named passenger for the stated date and time.
Ticket Validity
Tickets can be refunded or revalidated within six (6) months from the date of issuance.
Pets
No animals will be allowed on board. The only exceptions are fighting cocks, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and other household pets, provided, the passenger presents a quarantine permit and the animals must be properly caged. Plants are likewise accepted provided they have quarantine permit.
Pregnancy
Women who are 8 months pregnant are allowed to board provided a valid doctor’s certificate is presented stating her fitness to travel. The passenger must also sign a waiver. But during rough seas, pregnant women are not allowed to board.
Unaccompanied Minors
Children under 12 must travel with a parent or guardian, while minors aged 12–17 may travel alone if they provide the required documents (such as a notarized consent letter, birth certificate, and valid IDs) and, in some cases, pay a service fee. Parents or guardians of unaccompanied minors may also be required to sign a waiver before boarding.
Sick Passengers
SuperCat requires passengers with illnesses to present a genuine medical certificate from a qualified doctor confirming fitness for sea travel, and advises those with health concerns or pregnancies to consult their physician before boarding.
