Boarding and Cut-Off

Passengers must be at the port three (3) hours prior to their departure schedule. Boarding cut-off is thirty (30) minutes before departure.

Note: Starlite Ferries, Inc. reserves the right to deny boarding to passengers who arrive one (1) hour prior to the trip schedule.

E-Ticket Validity

A passenger ticket is valid for 1 year from the date of departure. Rebooking and/or refunds can no longer be processed beyond this period.

Baggage Allowance

Paying passengers except those 11 years old and below have up to 50 kilograms of baggage allowance. Any excess shall be charged ten pesos per kilogram (10 PHP/kg) accordingly.

Valid Photo ID

A valid photo ID must be presented for verification purposes. For Senior Citizens, PWDs, and Students, the following must be presented upon check-in:

  • Senior Citizen: OSCA ID
  • PWD: PWD ID
  • Student: Valid Student ID

Other Valid Photo IDs:

  • Any Government-Issued ID
  • Validated School ID
  • Company ID
  • Birth Certificate
  • Barangay Certificate

Infant, Toddler, and Minor

Passengers are categorized as follows:

  • Infant: 11 months or below – Free of charge for all routes.
  • Toddler: 1 to 3 years old – Charged only for insurance.
  • Minor: 4 to 11 years old – Charged half fare of an adult passenger.

Minor Traveling Alone

Passengers below 17 years of age are not allowed to travel alone.

Pregnant Women

  • 6 Months Pregnant: Allowed to travel with a fitness-to-travel certificate from a physician or OB-Gyne and a signed company waiver.
  • 7 to 9 Months Pregnant: Not allowed to travel.

Sick Passenger

A medical certificate from a physician must be presented, stating that the passenger is fit to travel via sea. In severe cases, a sick passenger must be accompanied by a medical practitioner and complete the waiver provided by the company.

Traveling With Pet

Requirements for Traveling With a Pet:

  • Permit to Travel from Bureau of Quarantine at the port of origin (Vaccine record must be presented).
  • Pet must be caged.
  • Pets are not allowed inside the accommodation area of the owner. Each vessel has an allocated area for pets.

Traveling With Fighting Cock / Domestic Fowl

Requirements:

  • Permit to Travel from Bureau of Quarantine at the port of origin.
  • Must be inside a box or cage.
  • Animals are not allowed inside the accommodation area of the owner. Each vessel has an allocated area for animals.

Traveling With Plants

Requirements:

  • Permit to Travel from Bureau of Quarantine.
  • Fee: ₱50.00 per plant.
  • Applicable for all routes.

Traveling With Cadaver

Transfer of Cadaver Requirements:

  • Permit to Travel from Bureau of Quarantine.
  • Death Certificate.
  • Coffin must be inside a vehicle.

Fee: ₱2,600 per cadaver.

Applicable for all routes. A separate payment for the vehicle applies, depending on type and route.
