Ferry passengers need to check in at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Boarding gates close 30 minutes before departure, and those who fail to check in on time will be refused boarding. 

All passengers must present a valid ID that matches the name on the booking. Accepted IDs include government-issued IDs (e.g., SSS, GSIS, Voter’s, Postal, Driver’s License, PRC), OSCA ID for senior citizens, and student or company IDs with a current term validation. Failure to present proper identification may result in denied boarding.

Passengers are allowed to bring two pieces of hand-carried baggage, not exceeding 0.10 cubic meters in combined volume. Excess baggage may be subject to additional charges based on weight and prevailing rates at the time of travel. Dangerous items and items of commercial quantity are not allowed on board.

Refunds are subject to a 20% surcharge, and rebookings incur a 20% rebooking fee. Refunds for tickets purchased through third-party agents must be processed through those agents. Rebooking is subject to availability and a fee.

Tickets are non-transferable.

Tickets are valid for one month from the date of purchase. This applies to tickets purchased online or through authorized ticketing outlets. It’s crucial to use the ticket within this validity period, as it may be subject to cancellation or refund policies after the expiration date.

Pets are permitted on board for a fee, which is assessed at the terminal, and must remain in a secure cage throughout the trip. Guide dogs, however, are allowed to board and accompany visually impaired travelers in the passenger area.

Passengers who are seven to nine months pregnant are not allowed to travel. Passengers who are between one and six months pregnant are required to present a medical certificate from a physician stating they are fit to travel, issued at least one day prior to the departure date.

Unaccompanied minors are not allowed to travel.

Sick passengers are required to present a medical certificate confirming their fitness to travel before boarding.
