OceanJet cancels select trips for March 14 due to rough sea conditions

OceanJet has officially suspended several of its ferry services for today, March 14, 2026, citing unfavorable weather and hazardous sea conditions as the primary reason for the decision.
Affected ferry schedules
The following routes have been grounded for the safety of passengers and crew:
- Cebu – Ormoc: 6:00AM, 9:30AM, and 1:00PM
- Ormoc – Cebu: 9:30AM, 1:00PM, and 4:30PM
- Cebu – Maasin: 7:00AM
- Maasin – Surigao: 10:30AM
- Surigao – Maasin: 1:00PM
- Maasin – Cebu: 3:30PM
- Siquijor – Dumaguete: 6:00PM
- Dumaguete – Siquijor: 7:10PM
Advisory for affected passengers
Passengers impacted by these cancellations are entitled to a full refund or a free rebooking of their travel dates. The operator advises affected individuals to visit their nearest ticketing office to process these requests immediately.
