Introducing Pamela – your AI assistant for Pamasahe

Hello everyone! Elmer here. I’ll be brief but I am writing to you today to announce the launch of Pamela, Pamasahe’s new free AI assistant. You can find her at the bottom right when viewing the site on a large screen. This is a feature I’ve wanted to implement since we first built the site to provide a better experience for our users.

Development

Pamela (or Pamasahe AI) was developed from scratch and is custom-trained on our travel routes and operator data. She currently utilizes the GPT-4.1 model and vector stores to navigate through our huge database quickly, providing accurate and on-point responses.

While we are continually refining her model with more precise data, you may still encounter occasional quirks, just as you might with ChatGPT or Gemini. So please keep in mind that Pamela can still make mistakes 🥲. You can always verify the information by visiting our Routes page or using the site’s search function.

Future Features

Pamela is just the first of many features we have in store for Pamasahe, so please visit us often to see what’s new! If there are any other improvements you’d like to suggest or have implemented, feel free to contact us.
