OceanJet cancels several routes due to rough sea conditions


Travelers bound for the Visayas and Mindanao regions are advised to adjust their itineraries as OceanJet has announced the cancellation of several trips scheduled for today, March 14, 2026. The ferry operator cited unfavorable sea conditions and safety concerns as the primary reasons for the suspension of services.
Cancelled trip schedules
- Cebu to Ormoc: 6:00 AM and 9:30 AM
- Ormoc to Cebu: 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM
- Cebu to Maasin: 7:00 AM
- Maasin to Surigao: 10:30 AM
- Surigao to Maasin: 1:00 PM
- Maasin to Cebu: 3:30 PM
Passengers affected by these cancellations are entitled to a full refund or free rescheduling of their trips. OceanJet officials urge affected travelers to visit their official ticketing offices for immediate rebooking or refund processing.
