As more travelers plan their domestic trips, the ferry operator emphasized the importance of knowing specific fare discounts and documentation requirements for minors.

Fare discounts for minors

Under the current policy, OceanJet offers specific fare structures for young travelers:

• Infants aged 2 years old and below are entitled to travel free of charge.
• Minors aged 2 to 11 years old receive a 50% discount on ticket fares, applicable strictly to Tourist and Open-Air accommodations.

Required documentation

To avail of these discounts, parents and guardians are required to present valid proof of age, such as a government-issued identification card or a birth certificate. The operator noted that discount applications must be processed directly at their ticketing offices.

Furthermore, the company mandates that children must be accompanied by their parents during the voyage. In instances where a child is traveling with a guardian instead, an authorization letter signed by the parent or legal guardian must be presented upon check-in.
