Additional sailings scheduled from March 31 to April 5 between Naval and Cebu

Star Philippines Shipping Lines has announced its list of Holy Week special trips for passengers traveling Naval, Biliran, to Cebu and vice versa. The shipping line has announced additional trips scheduled on March 31 to April 5, 2026, as part of preparations for the surge in passenger demand during the Holy Week season.

Holy Week is a significant season for many Filipinos, and it is a common tradition for people to visit their home provinces or visit relatives during this season. This has led shipping lines to add more trips during this season to cater to the surge in demand.

According to Star Philippines Shipping Lines’ announced shipping schedule, there are several trips scheduled between Naval Port, Biliran, and Cebu during the early part of Holy Week. This will enable passengers to travel before the peak season.

The announced schedule includes the following trips:

March 31, 2026 (Tuesday)

• Naval to Cebu – 10:00 AM
• Cebu to Naval – 9:00 PM

April 1, 2026 (Wednesday)

• Naval to Cebu – 10:00 AM
• Cebu to Naval – 9:00 PM

April 2, 2026 (Thursday)

• Naval to Cebu – 10:00 AM
• Cebu to Naval – 9:00 PM

For April 3 to April 4, 2026, which falls on a Friday and Saturday, the vessels will be on standby at the Port of Naval in Biliran. This will enable the company to make the necessary adjustments depending on the number of passengers and the status of the ports during the busiest period of the week.

Another special sailing will be on April 5, 2026, which falls on a Sunday. On this day, the vessel will sail from the Port of Naval to Cebu, leaving at 8:00 PM. This will offer passengers another chance to return home after the Holy Week celebrations.

After the special sailings, the regular trip schedules will resume on April 6, 2026, which falls on a Monday. This will mark the resumption of normal activities after the Holy Week celebrations.
