Check-In Time
Passengers must be onboard a specific vessel at least 2 hours before the departure time. Failure to check in 30 minutes before departure may result in cancellation of the ticket.
ID Requirements
A valid government-issued ID such as SSS, PhilHealth, or Pag-IBIG is required at boarding. NSO certificates and police clearances are accepted; minors may present a birth certificate.
Baggage (Allowance, Excess, Unclaimed)
A free baggage allowance of up to 50kg is typically provided per passenger.
Refunds and Rebooking
Refund or rebooking of tickets should be made within sixty (60) days from the date of purchase of the passenger ticket. Beyond this period, Cokaliong Shipping Lines will no longer approve requests for refund or rebooking.
Ticket refunds can be processed in any of Cokaliong Shipping Lines’ offices. Requests for refund or re-validation of ticket are subject to surcharges. Please make sure that you can present and surrender the original copy of your passenger ticket.
Tickets may be upgraded at any of Cokaliong Shipping Lines’ offices and authorized outlets. Present the original copy of the passenger ticket and pay the price difference between your current accommodation and your desired/upgraded accommodation.
Transferrable / Non-transferrable Tickets
Tickets are non-transferable.
Pets
Cokaliong Shipping Lines permits pets on board, provided they are securely placed in a cage throughout the trip. A fee, based on the destination and assessed at the terminal, will apply. Passengers must also obtain a travel permit from the Bureau of Quarantine before bringing their pets.
Pregnancy
A pregnant passenger shall secure and present a medical certificate clearly and specifically stating therein that she is fit to travel by boat on the sailing date.
Unaccompanied Minors
Cokaliong Shipping Lines permits children aged 14 and above to travel without a companion. Those aged 12 to 13 may travel alone but must meet specific documentary requirements. Children 12 and under are not allowed to travel unaccompanied.
Sick Passengers
Passengers with health issues must present a medical certificate confirming they are fit to travel. Those with contagious illnesses must be accompanied by a medical professional.
