• One-Way Permit: The BAI shipping permit is typically valid for one-way travel; a new one is required for the return trip.

Women in their first six months of pregnancy (up to 28 weeks) are allowed to travel with a medical certificate confirming their fitness to travel by sea, issued no earlier than the day before departure. Pregnant women in their seventh month and beyond (29 weeks and above) are not permitted to travel.
