Clemer Shipping Lines has officially announced a temporary reduction in its ferry operations between Getafe and Cebu. The adjustment is set to take place over a two-day period on March 18 and 19, 2026.
According to the transport operator, the decision to scale back daily trips is a direct response to the recent sharp increase in fuel costs. The company stated that this measure is necessary to maintain sustainable operations during this period of rising expenditures.
Temporary travel schedule
Passengers and cargo shippers planning to travel between these two points are advised to take note of the limited daily departures:
- Getafe to Cebu: 6:15 AM only.
- Cebu to Getafe: 4:00 PM only.
Clemer Shipping Lines expressed its sincerest apologies for the inconvenience this may cause to daily commuters and businesses relying on their services. The management thanked their valued customers for their continued patience and understanding as they navigate these operational challenges.
Travelers are encouraged to adjust their itineraries accordingly and check with local terminal offices for any further updates regarding service normalization following the two-day period.
