Edgel Ferry Express cancels selected February 21 trips

Edgel Ferry Express has officially announced the cancellation of selected scheduled trips of M/V Edgel Ferry Express V on February 21, 2026. The advisory was released to inform passengers in advance and allow them to adjust their travel plans accordingly.

Based on the travel update issued by the company, the following sailings will be cancelled:

• Hilton – 5:10 AM
• Getafe – 7:00 AM

According to the management, the reason for the temporary suspension of these trips is because the vessel has been chosen as the official galleon for the Fluvial Parade of Santo Niño de Mactan. The fluvial parade is an important religious and cultural event that attracts participants and followers from different places. As part of their involvement in this major event, M/V Edgel Ferry Express V will not be available for its regular passenger service during the specified schedules.

Although the company is aware of the inconvenience this may cause, Edgel Ferry Express made it clear that it is grateful for the public’s understanding as it takes part in a significant community celebration.
