Travelers heading to Puerto Galera and other maritime destinations via Batangas Port are advised of an upcoming terminal fee adjustment. Starting July 1, 2026, the passenger terminal fee will increase to ₱90, up from the current rate of ₱60.
This adjustment represents the second and final tranche of a planned fee increase aimed at supporting the modernization and maintenance of the expanded terminal facilities. The complete rollout follows the initial phase implemented earlier this year to ensure the upkeep of the port’s upgraded infrastructure.
Standard discounts and exemptions
Despite the rate adjustment, standard discount rates and exemptions mandated by law will remain in effect. The following individuals are entitled to their respective benefits at the terminal:
- Senior Citizens
- Persons with Disabilities (PWDs)
- Students
- Uniformed Personnel
- Medal of Valor Awardees
Traveler guidance
Passengers are encouraged to factor this price change into their travel budgets starting in mid-2026. For those planning their journey, the Batangas-Puerto Galera ferry schedules and current ticket rates can be verified through official channels to ensure a smooth transition during the implementation period.
