ILOILO CITY — Sea travel between Iloilo and Guimaras has returned to its regular operations, according to an advisory released on September 10, 2026, by the Guimaras Island Transport Multipurpose Cooperative (GITMPC).
Commuters utilizing the popular sea route can now resume their regular travel plans as the transport cooperative lifts previous restrictions, restoring the standard daily schedule for commuters and tourists traveling through the Western Visayas region.
Updated ferry schedules
With the normalization of trips, passengers are advised to take note of the updated terminal operating hours for both departure points:
- Parola wharf to Jordan wharf: Trips are available until 10:00 PM.
- Jordan wharf to Parola wharf: Trips are available until 9:30 PM.
Travelers are encouraged to arrive at the terminals ahead of their intended departure times to secure their tickets and ensure a smooth boarding process. The resumption of normal schedules is expected to ease travel backlogs and boost local tourism traffic between Iloilo City and the island province of Guimaras.
