SURIGAO CITY – Travelers planning a trip to the scenic island of Siargao can now look forward to more convenient journeys as JP Shipping Lines’ vessel, Fortune Angel 2, is set to resume its operations. The much-anticipated resumption of services will commence on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, providing a vital link between Surigao City and Dapa, Siargao.
The shipping line has also introduced an enhanced travel experience for passengers. Fortune Angel 2 will now offer Wi-Fi connectivity onboard, ensuring a more convenient and connected voyage for all.
Adjusted Fare Rates Amid Rising Costs
Acknowledging prevailing concerns about increasing travel expenses, JP Shipping Lines has announced a minimal adjustment to its fare rates. In a gesture of appreciation for continued patronage, the company has implemented a modest PHP 30 increase per accommodation category, effective until further notice. The new fare structure is as follows:

Travelers are advised to take note of the updated Lenten Season schedule for Fortune Angel 2:
- March 31, 2026 (Tuesday): One trip only at 11:30 AM, from Surigao to Dapa.
- April 1, 2026 (Wednesday): Regular schedule, with trips at 5:30 AM from Dapa to Surigao and 11:30 AM from Surigao to Dapa.
- April 2, 2026 (Thursday): Regular schedule.
- April 3, 2026 (Friday): NO TRIP.
- April 4, 2026 (Saturday): Regular schedule.
- April 5, 2026 (Sunday): NO TRIP.
