New passenger vessel MB Genne Love joins Jordan-Iloilo sea route

Travelers commuting between Guimaras and Iloilo can expect improved vessel availability as the Guimaras Island Transport Multipurpose Cooperative (GITMPC) officially announces the chartering of the MB Genne Love.

The newly added sea transport aims to augment existing fleet operations and efficiently accommodate the growing passenger demand along the vital Jordan–Iloilo vice versa route, reinforcing the cooperative’s commitment to delivering safe, reliable, and seamless maritime travel.

Fare matrix and ticketing guidelines

Passengers planning to ride the newly integrated vessel should take note of the approved fare structure:

• Regular Fare: ₱40.00
• Discounted Fare: ₱32.00
• Nighttime Rate (8:00 PM onwards): ₱50.00

In addition, transport management issued an important advisory regarding fare transactions. For the time being, commuters boarding the MB Genne Love are strictly required to pay in cash only.

The cooperative clarified that the GITMPC Card remains exclusively valid for payment when boarding standard GITMPC Jordan Ferry vessels and cannot yet be used on the newly chartered transport.

Operational records indicate that the vessel is tied to the Bamosa Cares initiative, with reference identifiers including JUG 3000 and 1M noted across operational documentation.
