OceanJet to implement fare reduction on select routes starting June 8

Fast craft operator OceanJet has announced a reduction in its temporary fuel surcharge for selected routes across the Visayas and Mindanao, effective June 8, 2026. The adjustment follows a period of easing fuel prices in the global market.

In an official advisory, the shipping company clarified that while fuel prices have seen recent improvements, they remain significantly higher than pre-crisis benchmarks. As a result, a portion of the temporary surcharge will remain in effect to ensure the sustainability of the carrier’s safe and reliable operations.

The following rates will be implemented for Tourist/Open Air and Business Class accommodations on the specified routes:

OceanJet noted that routes not indicated in the list above will remain unchanged at this time. The company stated that any future adjustments will be evaluated based on ongoing fuel market conditions and operational requirements.
