Introducing Pamela – your AI assistant for Pamasahe

Hello everyone! Elmer here. I’ll be brief but I am writing to you today to announce the launch of Pamela, Pamasahe’s new free AI assistant. You can find her at the bottom right of the screen. This is a feature I’ve wanted to implement since we first built the site to provide a better experience for our users.

Development

Pamela’s (or Pamasahe AI) interface was developed from scratch and is pre-trained on our travel routes and operator data. She utilizes OpenAI’s GPT-4.1 model and custom vector stores to quickly access and retrieve information, providing mostly accurate responses as much as possible.

While we are continually refining her model with more precise data, you may still encounter occasional quirks, just as you might with ChatGPT or Gemini. So please keep in mind that Pamela can still make mistakes 🥲. You can always verify the information by visiting our Routes page or using the site’s search function.
