Starlite Ferries suspends Batangas, Caticlan, and Roxas City trips due to bad weather

Starlite Ferries Inc. has officially announced the cancellation of several scheduled voyages for Saturday, August 8, 2026, citing safety concerns due to prevailing bad weather conditions. The suspension affects key maritime routes connecting Batangas to Caticlan and Roxas City, Capiz.
Affected Trip Schedules
According to the shipping line’s advisory, the following trips are cancelled until further notice:
Batangas – Caticlan Route
- Batangas to Caticlan: 4:00 PM and 7:30 PM
- Caticlan to Batangas: 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM
Batangas – Roxas City Route (via Romblon and Sibuyan)
- Batangas to Roxas City: 3:00 PM
- Roxas City to Batangas: 1:00 PM
The management stated that the cancellation is effective until further advisory. Passengers are advised to stay tuned for updates regarding the resumption of operations once weather conditions improve.
