Weesam Express to implement updated fare rates for Zamboanga-Isabela route in June 2026
Sea travelers between Zamboanga and Isabela City are advised to take note of upcoming changes in ticket pricing. Fast craft operator Weesam Express has announced a new fare matrix for the Zamboanga–Isabela–Zamboanga route, which will officially take effect on June 8, 2026.
According to the shipping company, the price adjustment follows the conclusion of the LAYAG Program. This initiative, spearheaded by the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA), previously provided subsidized fares to assist sea transport passengers. With the program’s conclusion, the company stated that the adjustment is necessary to sustain safe, reliable, and comfortable maritime operations for the public.

Under the updated schedule, a regular ticket will cost ₱400 for First Class and ₱300 for Tourist, Economy, or View Deck accommodations. Special discounted rates continue to be honored for students, senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and minors, ensuring continued accessibility for these sectors.
