Cebu Port Authority cancels sea trips due to Super Typhoon Inday

The Cebu Port Authority (CPA) has officially suspended several sea voyages scheduled for July 10, 2026, as Super Typhoon Inday continues to intensify, bringing hazardous weather conditions across the region.

In an advisory released this morning, port officials confirmed that the cancellations are a necessary precaution to ensure the safety of passengers and crew members amidst reports of strong winds and turbulent sea conditions within the Visayas maritime routes.

Pier 1 Passenger Terminal cancellations

  • OceanJet: Cebu to Maasin/Surigao – 0700H
  • Cokaliong Shipping Lines: Cebu to Maasin – 1900H
  • Clemer Lines: Cebu to Getafe – 0900H and 1600H

Pier 3 Passenger Terminal cancellations

Operations at Pier 3 have been significantly impacted, with multiple fast craft and ferry services suspended for the day:

  • Starcrafts (Tubigon, Bohol): All trips scheduled for 6:30 AM, 9:45 AM, 11:35 AM, 1:15 PM, 3:00 PM, 5:00 PM, and 6:45 PM.
  • Seacat Oasis: Catbalogan/Naval – 0730H departure.
  • Seacat One: Hilongos, Leyte (0700H) and Baybay, Leyte (1315H).
  • Gabisan Shipping Lines (Gloria One): Hilongos, Leyte – 1400H departure.

Danao and Poro Port advisories

At Danao Port, Jomalia Shipping Corporation has announced that all trips bound for Consuelo, Camotes are cancelled due to the typhoon. Meanwhile, at Poro Port, MV Super Shuttle Ferry 17 has suspended all voyages bound for Pier 88 Liloan until further notice.

Affected passengers are advised to coordinate with their respective shipping lines for rebooking or refund inquiries. The public is encouraged to stay updated through official government weather bulletins and port advisories as the situation develops.
