Clemer Shipping Lines has officially announced an upcoming adjustment in its fare and cargo rates, scheduled to take effect on April 4, 2026. The shipping operator cited the continuous surge in fuel prices as the primary reason for the necessary price hike.
According to the company’s management, the rising operating costs are a direct result of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which has caused volatility in the global fuel market. The decision to adjust rates was described as a difficult but necessary step to maintain the quality and reliability of their maritime services.
Updated passenger fare rates
Beginning April 4, 2026, the following fare structure will be implemented for all passengers:
| Category | Rate (PHP) |
|---|---|
| Regular | 500 |
| Student | 400 |
| Senior / PWD | 360 |
| Child | 250 |
The company expressed its gratitude to its valued passengers and shippers for their continued understanding and support during these challenging times. While the adjustment also covers cargo rates, specific details for various cargo types are expected to be available at the company’s ticketing offices and cargo terminals.
Travelers are advised to take note of these changes when planning their trips and logistical requirements starting this April.
