Jomalia Shipping to implement additional 10% fuel surcharge starting April 4

Sea travelers and shippers are advised of upcoming fare adjustments for Jomalia Shipping Corporation routes. In a recent advisory, the shipping firm announced the implementation of a temporary fuel surcharge effective April 4, 2026.
The measure is being enacted in accordance with MARINA Advisory No. 2026-15, which addresses the continuous increase in global fuel prices. The shipping line stated that the adjustment is essential to sustain safe, reliable, and efficient operations for all its passengers and cargo services.
Breakdown of Surcharge Adjustments
According to the company, the adjustment involves an additional 10% fuel surcharge on top of the existing temporary fuel surcharge currently in effect. This new rate will be applied to the following categories:
- All passage fares
- All freight rates

Jomalia Shipping Corporation emphasized that the fuel surcharge is temporary. The rates remain subject to regular review and possible adjustment based on future movements in fuel prices and subsequent regulatory advisories from the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA).
