Travelers bound for Samar are advised to take note of significant scheduling adjustments for one of the primary maritime vessels operating out of Cebu City. Kho Shipping Lines Incorporated has issued a formal notice regarding the operational schedule of the MV Pio V. Corpus Star.
The adjustments, which affect voyages throughout the month of April 2026, were necessitated by low tide conditions at the Calbayog Port in Samar. To ensure the safety and seamless docking of the vessel, the shipping line will implement an early departure from Pier 5 in Cebu City.
Affected passengers and cargo clients should take note of the revised departure time, which is set for 1500H (3:00 PM) on the following dates:
