OceanJet announces phased resumption of ferry services in Visayas starting April 19

Fast craft operator OceanJet has officially announced the phased resumption of several major ferry routes connecting Cebu, Bohol, Siquijor, and Negros Oriental. The expanded schedule, which begins on April 19, 2026, aims to restore vital maritime links between key tourist destinations and commercial hubs in the Central Visayas region.
Phased Resumption Schedule
The resumption of services will be implemented in three stages to ensure a smooth transition for passengers:
- Starting April 19, 2026: Initial trips between Cebu, Tagbilaran, Siquijor, and Dumaguete will commence in the afternoon.
- Starting April 20, 2026: A full daily schedule will be reinstated for the Cebu-Tagbilaran-Siquijor-Dumaguete circuit, including early morning departures.
- Starting April 24, 2026: Operations will resume for the Cebu to Palompon and Cebu to Getafe routes, along with additional evening rotations for Cebu-Tagbilaran.

Cebu to Tagbilaran and Vice Versa
Effective April 24, 2026, OceanJet will offer near-hourly service between these two major ports:

- Getafe to Cebu: 6:30 AM, 8:15 AM, 11:45 AM, 3:15 PM, 6:45 PM
Dumaguete and Siquijor Connections
As of mid-April 2026, the frequent ferry link between Dumaguete and Siquijor remains operational with multiple daily trips:
- Dumaguete to Siquijor: 7:20 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 7:10 PM
- Siquijor to Dumaguete: 6:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 6:00 PM
Other Active Routes
Schedules for Ormoc, Maasin, and Surigao remain consistent with updates as of April 18, 2026:
- Cebu to Ormoc: 6:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 1:00 PM, 4:30 PM (Daily)
