Fast craft operator OceanJet has issued a travel advisory regarding the cancellation of specific trip schedules between Cebu and Getafe, Bohol, effective from August 24 to 31, 2026.
The company stated that the temporary suspension is due to very low tide and negative sea water levels currently affecting the new berth at Getafe Port. These environmental conditions have rendered docking and undocking operations hazardous for the fleet, necessitating the service disruption to ensure passenger and vessel safety.
Affected Trip Schedules
- Cebu to Getafe: 5:00 PM
- Getafe to Cebu: 6:45 PM
Refund and Rebooking Procedures
Affected passengers are encouraged to facilitate their refunds or rebooking requests through OceanJet ticketing offices or via their official website at oceanjet.net/manage-booking.
For further inquiries and clarifications, travelers may reach the operator through their official Facebook page at facebook.com/oceanjet or contact them directly via telephone at (032) 255 7560.
OceanJet apologizes for any inconvenience caused and reminds all travelers to stay safe and updated through their official communication channels.
