OceanJet cancels Cebu-Getafe trips from May 28 to June 6 due to low tide

Fast craft operator OceanJet has issued a travel advisory announcing the temporary suspension of specific evening trips between Cebu and Getafe, Bohol, covering the period from May 28 to June 6, 2026. The decision comes as a safety precaution due to unfavorable environmental conditions at the destination port.

According to the company, the cancellations are a direct result of very low tide and negative sea water levels. These conditions make docking and undocking operations at the new berth of Getafe Port unsafe for the vessel’s operations during the specified dates.

• Getafe to Cebu: 6:45 PM
