OceanJet Cebu-Palompon and Getafe routes remain cancelled for preventive maintenance
Fast craft operator OceanJet has issued a travel advisory announcing the cancellation of several trip schedules from July 10 to 16, 2026. According to the company, the temporary suspension of services is necessary to facilitate ongoing preventive maintenance being conducted on the vessel to ensure safety and service reliability.
Affected Schedules
Travelers planning to use the following routes during the specified dates are advised of the cancellations:
- Getafe to Cebu: 6:30 AM
- Cebu to Palompon: 10:00 AM
- Palompon to Cebu: 1:30 PM
- Cebu to Getafe: 6:45 PM
Refund and Rebooking Guidelines
In response to the service interruption, OceanJet has confirmed that all affected passengers are entitled to a full refund or a no-charge rescheduling of their travel dates. For immediate processing of rebooking and refund requests, passengers are advised to visit the nearest OceanJet ticketing office.
