Fast craft operator OceanJet has issued a travel advisory announcing the cancellation of specific trip schedules between Cebu and Getafe, Bohol, for several dates in April 2026. The shipping line cited environmental factors as the primary cause for the temporary suspension.
Affected Schedules and Dates
The cancellations affect the following round-trip services on April 1 to 8 and April 16 to 22, 2026:
- Cebu to Getafe: 5:00 PM
- Getafe to Cebu: 6:45 PM
Reason for Suspension
According to the OceanJet travel advisory, the decision was made due to very low tide and negative sea water levels. These conditions render docking and undocking operations at the new berth of Getafe Port unsafe for the vessel during the specified times.
Rebooking and Refund Information
Passengers with tickets for the affected dates are encouraged to rebook or apply for a refund. These transactions can be completed at any OceanJet ticketing office or through the operator’s official website at oceanjet.net/manage-booking.
For additional inquiries or clarifications, travelers may contact the company through their official Facebook page or via telephone at (032) 255 7560.
