Oceanjet implements 10% fuel surcharge across key Visayas and Mindanao routes

Fastcraft operator OceanJet has announced the implementation of a temporary 10% fuel surcharge across multiple routes in the Visayas and Mindanao regions, effective September 21, 2026. The adjustment comes in response to the continuous increase in global fuel prices.
According to the advisory duly received by the Maritime Industry Authority Regional Office 7 (MRO7) on September 16, 2026, the management assured travelers that the hike is a temporary measure that will be lifted once global fuel prices stabilize.
Updated fare matrix
Passengers traveling through the following key inter-island corridors will see adjusted one-way or v.v. rates:
- Cebu – Tagbilaran v.v.: Tourist / Open Air (PHP 960), Business Class (PHP 1,440)
- Tagbilaran – Siquijor v.v.: Tourist / Open Air (PHP 960), Business Class (PHP 1,440)
- Tagbilaran – Dumaguete v.v.: Tourist / Open Air (PHP 1,080), Business Class (PHP 1,680)
- Dumaguete – Siquijor v.v.: Tourist / Open Air (PHP 420), Business Class (PHP 700)
- Iloilo – Bacolod v.v.: Tourist / Open Air (PHP 660), Business Class (PHP 960)
- Cebu – Getafe v.v.: Tourist / Open Air (PHP 540), Business Class (PHP 960)
- Cebu – Ormoc v.v.: Tourist / Open Air (PHP 1,320), Business Class (PHP 1,920)
- Cebu – Maasin v.v.: Tourist / Open Air (PHP 1,320), Business Class (PHP 1,920)
- Maasin – Surigao v.v.: Tourist / Open Air (PHP 960), Business Class (PHP 1,440)
