Lite Ferries announces new direct route between Tagbilaran and Cagayan de Oro


Travelers looking to navigate between Bohol and Misamis Oriental will have more options starting this month as Lite Shipping Corporation officially launches a new ferry route connecting Tagbilaran City and Cagayan de Oro City. The new service is set to commence on Friday, March 20, 2026.
New route schedule
The expansion provides multiple weekly departures to accommodate both business travelers and tourists. The schedule for the new service is as follows:
- Cagayan de Oro to Tagbilaran: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7:00 PM.
- Tagbilaran to Cagayan de Oro: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 7:00 PM.
In addition to these inter-city connections, the company has also scheduled specific departures for the Cagayan de Oro to Jagna route and vice-versa, both operating on Sundays at 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM respectively.
