OceanJet announces updated sailing schedules and temporary fare adjustments

Leading maritime operator OceanJet has released an updated schedule for its various routes connecting Cebu, Bohol, Leyte, and Negros Oriental. The changes, which include both resumed operations and specific service cancellations, will take effect starting March 19, 2026.

Resumed route schedules

Effective March 19, 2026, the following trips will resume operations:

• Cebu – Palompon: 10:00 AM
• Palompon – Cebu: 1:30 PM
• Cebu – Tagbilaran: 12:20 PM
• Tagbilaran – Siquijor: 2:40 PM
• Siquijor – Dumaguete: 4:40 PM
• Dumaguete – Siquijor: 5:25 PM
• Cebu – Tagbilaran: 6:40 PM
• Tagbilaran – Cebu: 6:30 PM

Additional routes scheduled for resumption starting March 20, 2026, include:

• Getafe – Cebu: 6:30 AM
• Cebu – Palompon: 10:00 AM
• Palompon – Cebu: 1:30 PM
• Cebu – Getafe: 6:45 PM
• Siquijor – Tagbilaran: 7:20 AM
• Tagbilaran – Cebu: 10:00 AM
• Cebu – Tagbilaran: 12:20 PM
• Tagbilaran – Siquijor: 2:40 PM
• Siquijor – Dumaguete: 4:40 PM
• Dumaguete – Siquijor: 5:30 PM

Temporary service cancellations

As part of a fuel contingency plan addressing current industry challenges, OceanJet announced that the Siquijor – Dumaguete trip at 5:00 AM and the Dumaguete – Siquijor trip at 6:20 AM will be temporarily suspended from March 20 to April 20, 2026.

Fare adjustments

Travelers utilizing the Cebu – Palompon route should note a temporary fare adjustment effective March 19, 2026:

• Tourist / Open Air Class: PHP 1,320
• Business Class: PHP 1,900
