In an update for maritime commuters, Montenegro Shipping Lines, Inc. (MSLI) has resumed its passenger and cargo vessel operations for key routes connecting mainland Luzon to Mindoro Island.

According to a travel advisory released by the shipping operator, voyages have resumed for the following routes:

  • Batangas City – Calapan City and vice versa
  • Batangas City – Abra de Ilog and vice versa

However, the shipping line clarified that trips are currently operating on a limited schedule. Passengers and cargo shippers are strongly urged to coordinate with MSLI representatives or check the latest departure times before proceeding to Batangas Port or the respective ports in Mindoro.

This resumption is expected to restore vital trade and travel links between the provinces of Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, and mainland Luzon.
