Travelers in Quezon province can look forward to enhanced connectivity as MV Syvel, operated by Syvel Company and Calasumanga Express Lines, officially announced the resumption of its sea trips connecting Abuyoin, Taluong, and Infanta. The much-anticipated return of service is slated for Monday, March 30, 2026.
The crucial transport link, which connects various towns and barangays, will operate daily during the upcoming Holy Week. However, passengers are advised that all MV Syvel boats will suspend operations on Good Friday, as is customary during the solemn observance.
This development comes as welcome news for residents of Polillo, Panukulan, and adjacent barangays and towns, who can now utilize the more convenient, faster, and more affordable sea route. The re-established service aims to facilitate easier movement for commuters and local economies.
Calasumanga Express Lines has released the initial schedule for the resumed trips:
- Abuyoin to Taluong: 6:30 AM
- Taluong to Infanta: 7:30 AM
- Infanta to Taluong: 1:00 PM
