Fast craft operator OceanJet has issued a travel advisory announcing the temporary cancellation of specific evening trips between Cebu and Getafe, Bohol. The service disruptions are scheduled to take place during select dates in April and May 2026.
Affected Trip Schedules
The following daily departures have been suspended for the duration of the advisory period:
- Cebu to Getafe: 5:00 PM
- Getafe to Cebu: 6:45 PM
Cancellation Dates
Passengers are advised to take note of the two specific windows affected by the suspension:
- April 29 to May 07, 2026
- May 15 to May 21, 2026
Reason for Suspension
According to OceanJet management, the decision was made due to very low tide and negative sea water levels. These environmental conditions make docking and undocking operations at the new berth of Getafe Port unsafe for the vessel and its passengers.
