Visayas-based fast craft operator OceanJet has announced a second round of reductions for its temporary fuel surcharge, offering lower fares for sea travelers starting June 20, 2026.

In compliance with MARINA Advisory 2026-33, the ferry company is rolling back its surcharges on several major routes connecting key destinations in the Visayas and Mindanao, including Cebu, Tagbilaran, Ormoc, Siquijor, Dumaguete, and Surigao.

According to OceanJet, while global fuel prices have stabilized compared to recent months, they still hover significantly higher than pre-crisis baselines. To maintain safe, reliable, and efficient operations, a portion of the temporary surcharge will remain active but will be completely phased out once market rates normalize.
