OceanJet cancels Cebu-Maasin-Surigao trips as Super Typhoon Inday triggers rough seas

Fast craft operator OceanJet has issued a travel advisory cancelling several trips scheduled for July 9 to July 10, 2026, as Super Typhoon Inday causes dangerously rough sea conditions across the region.
The shipping company announced that the suspension of operations is a necessary safety precaution for all passengers and crew members. The affected schedules include the following routes:
- Cebu to Maasin: 7:00 AM
- Maasin to Surigao: 10:30 AM
- Surigao to Maasin: 1:00 PM
- Maasin to Cebu: 3:30 PM
Refund and Rebooking Information
In light of the cancellations, OceanJet has confirmed that affected passengers are entitled to a full refund or rescheduling of their trips with no additional charges. Passengers are advised to proceed to the nearest ticketing office to facilitate these requests immediately.
