Starlite Ferries cancels multiple routes due to Typhoon Inday

Starlite Ferries has issued an urgent travel advisory announcing the suspension of several maritime operations scheduled for Wednesday, July 8, 2026, as Typhoon Inday continues to affect weather conditions across the region.
The shipping line stated that the cancellation of trips is a necessary safety precaution to ensure the welfare of passengers and crew members. The suspension is effective immediately and will remain in place until further notice from the authorities and the shipping company.
Affected Routes
The following scheduled voyages have been officially cancelled:
- Batangas to Calapan (v.v.)
- Dangay, Roxas to Caticlan (v.v.)
- Batangas to Caticlan (v.v.) – specifically the 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM departures
- Batangas to Roxas City, Capiz (v.v.) via Romblon and Sibuyan – specifically the 3:00 PM departure
Starlite Ferries expressed its appreciation for the public’s patience and cooperation during this weather-related disruption. Travelers are advised to stay indoors and prioritize safety while the typhoon passes.
