OceanJet announces lower fares following fuel surcharge reduction effective July 10

Fast-craft operator OceanJet has announced a reduction in its temporary fuel surcharge, leading to a decrease in passenger fares across multiple routes in the Visayas and Mindanao. The updated pricing is scheduled to take effect on July 10, 2026.
The adjustment follows the downward trend in global fuel prices and is implemented in compliance with MARINA Advisory No. 2026-35. According to the travel operator, this move aims to balance operational sustainability with passenger affordability as market conditions stabilize.
Updated Fare Schedule
The following rates for Tourist/Open Air and Business Class accommodations will be implemented across OceanJet’s primary routes:

Guidelines for Travelers
While the new fares are official starting July 10, 2026, OceanJet noted that the updated rates may not immediately appear across all booking platforms at the exact start of the day. Travelers are encouraged to check with various booking channels as the system synchronization progresses.
