PPA’s Online Reservation Assistance System (ORAS) temporarily suspended for maintenance

MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) has announced the temporary suspension of its Online Reservation Assistance System (ORAS), effective after the conclusion of its pilot testing phase.

In an “ABISO SA PUBLIKO” (Public Advisory), the PPA confirmed that the ORAS, which was instrumental during the recent peak travel season and Oplan Semana Santa, officially ended its pilot operation on April 8.

The Online Reservation Assistance System is currently in “MAINTENANCE MODE” and is undergoing crucial system enhancements. This maintenance aims to refine its functionalities and significantly improve travel arrangements and service delivery, building on the experiences from its pilot run.

Consequently, the ORAS platform is temporarily inaccessible to passengers.

For all passengers planning to travel, the Philippine Ports Authority advises proceeding directly to their respective shipping lines for ticket purchases. The ORAS Pass is currently not required for any travel transactions.

The PPA urges the public to remain attentive for official announcements regarding the system’s reopening. Updates will be disseminated through their recognized channels.
