Starlite Ferries Inc. has issued an advisory announcing the suspension of several sea trips scheduled between August 7 and August 12, 2026, due to unfavorable weather conditions. The shipping line emphasized that the safety of passengers and crew remains the top priority as maritime operations are temporarily halted on specific routes connecting Batangas to the provinces of Romblon and Capiz.
Affected Schedules: Batangas to Cajidiocan
The following trips scheduled for August 7, 10, and 12, 2026 (Friday, Monday, and Wednesday) have been officially cancelled:
- Batangas to Cajidiocan (via Romblon and Roxas City, Capiz) – Departure: 3:00 PM
- Cajidiocan to Batangas (via Roxas City, Capiz and Romblon) – Departure: 7:00 PM
Affected Schedules: Batangas to Sibuyan
Travelers booked for August 8, 9, and 11, 2026 (Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday) are advised of the following cancellations:
- Batangas to Sibuyan (via Romblon and Roxas City, Capiz) – Departure: 3:00 PM
- Sibuyan to Batangas (via Roxas City, Capiz and Romblon) – Departure: 7:00 PM
According to the company, these cancellations are effective until further notice. Starlite Ferries is closely monitoring weather updates and will issue a follow-up advisory once sea conditions improve and standard operations can safely resume.
