Montenegro Shipping Lines adjusts Iloilo-Palawan routes due to inclement weather

Passenger safety remains a priority as Montenegro Shipping Lines – Iloilo Satellite Office announced several schedule adjustments for its Palawan-bound routes. The changes come in response to inclement weather and the prevailing habagat (southwest monsoon) season, which continues to affect maritime conditions in the region.
Updated sailing schedule
Travelers are advised to take note of the following revised departure times for the Iloilo-Cuyo-Puerto Princesa routes:
- Iloilo City to Cuyo, Palawan: Originally scheduled for August 8, this trip will now depart on August 10 at 7:00 PM.
- Cuyo, Palawan to Puerto Princesa: Originally scheduled for August 9, this trip will now depart on August 11 at 2:00 PM. This schedule is considered tentative due to the habagat season.
- Puerto Princesa to Cuyo, Palawan: Originally scheduled for August 11, this trip will now depart on August 12 at 4:00 PM.
- Cuyo to Iloilo City: This trip is now set for August 13 at 2:00 PM, though remains tentative pending favorable weather conditions.
The shipping operator issued an apology to the riding public for any inconvenience these delays may cause. Passengers are encouraged to stay in contact with the Iloilo Satellite Office or official company channels for further updates regarding voyage status and potential further adjustments.
