The Cebu Port Authority (CPA) has announced the implementation of temporary traffic management measures at the Pier 3 Passenger Terminal beginning tomorrow, March 28, 2026. The initiative is designed to mitigate congestion in anticipation of heavy passenger traffic during the peak travel period.
Gate 3 temporary closure
As part of the streamlined traffic flow, the CPA confirmed that Primary Gate 3 will be temporarily closed to all vehicles daily from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Travelers and motorists are advised to adjust their schedules accordingly to avoid delays.
Alternative access points
To ensure continuous access to the terminal facilities, vehicles bound for Pier 3 are directed to utilize the following alternative entry points during the restricted hours:
- Gate 1
- Gate 2
- Gate 5
- Gate 6
- Gate 7
The port authority urges the public to remain patient and follow the instructions of on-site traffic personnel to maintain order and safety at the port premises. For further updates, passengers may visit the official Cebu Port Authority website or their verified social media channels.
