In response to the escalating threat posed by Super Typhoon Inday, ferry operator FastCat has announced the immediate suspension of all trips on the Dumaguete to Dapitan route and vice versa.
The travel advisory, issued on July 8, 2026, specifies that the cancellation takes effect starting with the 2:00 p.m. departure from Dapitan. All subsequent voyages on this route are canceled until further notice as the company prioritizes the safety of its passengers and crew amid the severe weather conditions.
