Maayo Shipping suspends Siquijor and Cebu trips due to Typhoon Inday

Sea travelers are advised to adjust their itineraries as Maayo Shipping, Inc. announced the temporary suspension of its operations on key routes between Cebu and Siquijor. The cancellation comes in response to deteriorating sea conditions and unfavorable weather brought by Typhoon Inday.
In an official trip advisory, the shipping firm confirmed that the safety of passengers and crew remains the priority as the typhoon affects regional waters. All scheduled trips for the affected routes are cancelled until further notice.
Affected Sea Routes
The following routes operated by Maayo Shipping are currently suspended:
- Liloan, Santander to Larena, Siquijor
- Larena, Siquijor to Bato, Samboan

Maayo Shipping, Inc. has expressed its apologies to the public for any inconvenience caused by these weather-related disruptions. Passengers who have pre-booked tickets are encouraged to contact the operator’s ticketing offices for information regarding refunds or revalidation of tickets.
The company stated that they will continue to monitor the weather updates from PAGASA and will resume operations once the Philippine Coast Guard deems it safe for maritime travel. Travelers are urged to stay tuned to official announcements before heading to the ports.
