OceanJet cancels Cebu-Maasin-Surigao trips for July 24 due to Tropical Depression Kiyapo

Fast craft operator OceanJet has announced the cancellation of several key voyages scheduled for July 24, 2026, as Tropical Depression Kiyapo and the Southwest Monsoon trigger hazardous sea conditions across the region.
In an official travel advisory, the company cited very rough seas as the primary reason for the suspension of services to ensure passenger safety. The following trip schedules are officially cancelled:
- Cebu to Maasin: 7:00 AM
- Maasin to Surigao: 10:30 AM
- Surigao to Maasin: 1:00 PM
- Maasin to Cebu: 3:30 PM
Refund and Rebooking Procedures
OceanJet has assured affected passengers that they are entitled to a full refund or no-charge rescheduling. Those wishing to process their rebooking or refund are advised to visit the nearest OceanJet ticketing office for immediate assistance.
