SJ&G Shipping Lines suspends voyages starting July 28 for vessel maintenance

Passenger shipping operator SJ&G Shipping Lines has announced the temporary suspension of all its voyages starting July 28, 2026, until further notice. The suspension is to pave the way for the scheduled dry docking and maintenance of its key vessels.
In an advisory released to the public, the company stated that the maintenance work will affect two of its main vessels: the MV Pilar Tuna Passion and the MV Pilar Tuna Destiny. Both ships will undergo mandatory servicing to maintain strict safety standards.

Active in the maritime industry since 1980, SJ&G Shipping Lines emphasized that the scheduled dry docking is a routine but critical procedure. “The dry docking is part of our regular maintenance program to ensure the safety, reliability, and comfort of all our passengers,” the operator shared, reinforcing their core commitment: “Your safety is our priority.”
