Starlite Ferries cancels Batangas-Caticlan trips on August 8 due to inclement weather

Sea travelers are advised of service disruptions as Starlite Ferries Inc. announced the suspension of its scheduled voyages between Batangas and Caticlan on August 8, 2026 (Saturday).
The ferry operator cited bad weather conditions as the primary cause for the cancellation. According to the company, the safety of passengers and crew remains the priority during the current weather disturbance.
Affected sailings
The following trips scheduled for Saturday morning have been officially cancelled:
- Batangas to Caticlan: 7:30 AM
- Caticlan to Batangas: 7:30 AM
The advisory states that the cancellation is effective until further notice. Passengers are urged to wait for subsequent updates regarding the resumption of sea travel once weather conditions improve.
