OceanJet announces cancellation of Siquijor-Dumaguete early morning trips

Fast craft operator OceanJet has issued a travel advisory informing the public of the temporary cancellation of specific trip schedules on the Siquijor-Dumaguete route and vice versa. The suspension is scheduled to take effect from April 24, 2026, until May 15, 2026.
According to the shipping line, the temporary service disruption is being implemented as part of a fuel contingency plan. The affected schedules are limited to the following early morning trips:
- Siquijor to Dumaguete: 5:00 AM
- Dumaguete to Siquijor: 6:20 AM
Refund and Rebooking Procedures
Passengers who have already purchased tickets for the affected dates are entitled to a full refund or a rescheduling with no additional charges. OceanJet advises those seeking immediate assistance to process their rebooking or refund requests directly at any official ticketing office.
