2GO Travel Issues Updated Trip Schedules Due to Tropical Storm “Basyang”

After the operations were affected by the coming of the climate for Tropical Storm “Basyang”, 2GO Travel has issued a travel advisory on the new departure date and time for the trips. The necessary changes were made to ensure the safety of the passengers and to resume vessel operations on calmer sea conditions.
The advisory involves various routes serviced by 2GO Travel, which connect different points such as Manila, Cebu, Cagayan de Oro, Tagbilaran, Davao, General Santos, and Iloilo. The sailings include different vessels, which may have their departures rescheduled, relocated to later schedules, and even under alternate trip numbers.

In some instances, passengers have been rerouted to other ships to proceed with their trips as soon as operations have cleared. There are also cancelled accommodations, where passengers are advised to refer to their official SMS/email updates for specific information pertaining to their booking.
To this, 2GO noted that it has informed the passengers via an SMS, using the contact details they registered at their time of purchase. Affected passengers can opt to either rebook their tickets or apply for a refund, depending upon their tickets’ validity. Such processes will take place either at the original ticketing outlet or at any 2GO corporate ticketing office, upon presentation of their tickets and identification documents.
Those proceeding with their revised schedules were again instructed that ticket replacement is a requirement prior to boarding at the port, in addition to which there is a possibility of alterations in bunk or cabin allocation, depending on ship and/OR unspecified changes.
